Factors and Multiples

Suppose You and your friend Algebra are playing this game.

• 1. Choose any number from 1 to 144, as shown in the figure (we have taken 88 as the starting number).
• 2. Either move to a factor or multiple of that chosen number (here 88).
• 3. You cannot move to a used number.
• 4. You lose if you can’t move any further.

A rough movement is 88 (start) → 44 (a factor) → 4 (a factor) → 104 (a multiple) → 26 (a factor) → 2 (a factor) → 120 (a multiple) → ∙∙∙.

Suppose you are playing with Red. Can you win?
